Introduction
What Does it Monitor?
The HeyrexVet Sleep Quality module monitors for two types of sleeping behaviour.
- Night time sleep.
- This is the time of day (usually overnight) that HeyrexVet has identified as a period when your patient is consistently asleep each day.
- This can be divided across more than one period each day.
- Because we understand a patients routine can change over time this period is re-assessed regularly to ensure it is still accurate.
- Night time disturbances are identified and classified by the type of activity they are (running, walking, scratching) to assist in identification of the cause of any disturbance.
- Opportunistic Sleep (Napping)
- This is periods when your patient is sleeping that fall outside their normal night time period.
