Managing Hardware
Information contained
As well as providing a list of all the hardware associated with your hospital the hardware page also provides a number of additional details about each item of hardware.
This information includes:
This information includes:
- Serial Number
 - The serial number for the monitor (biosensor) is engraved on the back of the monitor and is used when registering a patient in the system.
 - It is important to understand that although the engraved serial number has 12 digits the number that shows on the hardware page will only have 10.
 - The first and last digit are not included on this screen so when searching by serial number please do not include these.
 - The serial number for the receiver (also referred to as a MAC address or ID) is not displayed anywhere on the receiver.
 - Receiver numbers will only be displayed here if your clients have logged into MyHeyrex and proceeded through the set up receiver step. This step registers the receiver to their account and allows us to identify who to show that number to.
 - The receiver serial number is helpful for troubleshooting purposes when
the Heyrex support team are helping to identify whether the problem is
with the receiver or the monitor.
 - Type of hardware
 - This identifies whether the device is a biosensor or receiver
 - Licence Type

 - Start Date

 - End date

 - A blank end date indicates that monitoring is ongoing

 - Owner
